Sos, tomorrow's both Thanksgiving and my birthday. That hasn't happened since either my 21st or 16th birthdays. What an exciting girl I am.
Went riding for the first official day yesterday. This mountain will be good for conditioning if nothing else. Very steep, long runs. My quads are killing me as usual. Went with boss and coworkers, all of whom are maniacs (ie kill it) on skis. My legs were shaking by the end of the first run, but it was cool. I might make it over to Targhee this weekend with Pete. Check out some Wyoming snow, which I have yet to experience. Also meeting up with Annie Fast and family friends for Thanksgiving dinner which I'm really looking forward to. It will be good to see her and hang out in a family environment for the afternoon.
That's about it. If anyone's wondering, I'm dying for an iPod for Xmas or my birthday. I need the tunes to accompany me on my many travels...... Even if I don't get it as a gift, I'm sure I'll break down and get one anyway...... happy birthday to me.
for all my video game friends....
a good rant on American politics and Grand Theft Auto.....
in the office on a Saturday.............
I'm currently in Alex's dorm room at NYU, we're going out to dinner with some work peeps. New York has been cool but I definitely wouldnt want to live here. It's dirty and expensive and everything moves too fast. But there's lots of places to spend money which I don't need to be around any longer. Hopefully I don't miss my 7am flight tomorrow am.
Big City is not for me....
I can't believe I've been working here (technically not physically) for a month. Craziness. I finally am feeling semi-organized. Today and yesterday were the first days that I can remember having time to just kinda hang out and feel relaxed. I've been wasting time shopping on the web. It's amazing how quickly I can blow those extra dollars.....
Leave for New York on Sunday am. Get to chill with Alex, stay in swanky hotel, meet up with motoX dudes, and hang with NY fashion editor types. Will be entertaining at the least. It's supposed to snow starting today and keep at it for the next five days or so.... hopefully my plane will be able to get out and in, then I will come home to SNOW..... I'm so ready to ride, I've been nerding out on snowboarding message boards...
Ummm. Things are pretty good overall I guess, I'm missing my fam and friends. I think the older I get the harder it's becoming to pick up and move. Or maybe it's always been hard, I just have selective memory.
Oh yeah, and I'll be probably going to see No Doubt tomorrow night. WooHoo. Actually it should be cool--apparently we've been hooking them up with product so we can go for free. What the hell, maybe I'll get to meet Gwen Stephani. Having free goods to throw out sure opens alot of doors..... My life has become very strange.....
You are not allowed on this site by order of Mr Post!!!!!
this is what it says everytime I try to get on to my blog page. Boo.
So I will blog blindly in the hopes that someone out there still cares... poor me. Anyways, finally am getting settled in to the pad and the office. I have a whole week ahead of me, woohoo, til I have to take off to New York for five days. I got my closet dialed, which was probably the biggest project of all. It's quite amazing to me that I have a walk-in closet, a dishwasher
and a washer-dryer. I'm in heaven.
Last week got to see the new SoCal office, which rocks, and meet a bunch of Primedia types from Surfer, Snowboarder, Skateboarder. They were all super cool and kept asking me why I wasn't working from down there. Beats me. Well not really, but that's definitely got the gears in my head grinding..... We shall see......
off to work.
