okay. i know i said i was going on hiatus, but here's a quick update, for myself more than anyone else. there's so much going on that i have to record it somewhere.

1. i have definitely bounced back (surprisingly quickly) from the Brad debacle. i feel pretty good and am okay with what happened (however, never will be with the "how" it happened. dick.). onward and upward. sucker.

2. just went on best vaca i've had in a while. was at Lake Powell with most of the few people who read this blog. we had a killer time. if only they would send/post pictures!!! yeah, i'm talking about yous guys.

3. bought a new car = '05 Jetta Wagon Diesel, 37-42ish MPG. it f'in rocks. i was very sad though to say goodbye to the Xterra. i patted it goodbye and wished it well, it took such good care of me.

4. am selling the house. already have had the first offer which i turned down becasue the woman (a realtor) was really pissing me off. will be sad to see it go too, but am being pretty anal (probably overly) about who gets it. as my neighbors said yesterday, my house has good karma and i'm doing my best to make sure it stays that way.

5. work is freakin' chaotic right now, with unusual amounts of crap to do at this time of year, plus trying to find a replacement for me on top of that. the options are not looking promising, but i'm also not waiting around forever for them to figure it out, because...

6. i have an interview in early July with Sole tech for their Etnies Girl brand, position of Brand/Marketing Manager. i am really fired up about it. i feel like since i actually got an interview i have a pretty solid shot, plus all the great references i have pulling for me...

7. but if i dont get that job, i am very much looking forward to some much-needed down time. i would LOVE to sit on my ass at the beach, read, surf, hang with the fam, do a roadtrip or two, and actually relax for a month or more, especially since i havent done that in years. i am Burnt Out.

8. so, pending what goes down, i will likely be out of here in mid- to late-July. we shall see.

9. i can't wait to go home!!!!!!
