hi.

i was wondering why i've been so adverse to blogging lately. lots of reasons probably, but one is just that i'm crabby/tired/bored-in-general so i havent felt the need to subject anyone who reads this thing to my moods.

work is lame right now, and i'm struggling with weighing how much of my annoyance is due to actual problems and how much is due to just burnout and/or bad attitude. i really dont know. some of the changes that went down were good, but the workload has become much larger and i dont feel i'm getting either increased recognition nor power. and definitely not more $$$, even though i have explicitly demanded it. in some ways i feel like my responsibilities are being taken away and i'm just assumed to deal without comment. fuck that. i'm currently on the hunt for new jobs. alot of shit thats gone down in the past few weeks is definitely making me second-guess my own worth and abilities. which isnt fun.

in other happy news, i heard on NPR this morning that the housing market in San Diego has risen by as much as 170% in the last five years. fuckin' rad. so stoked that i'll never be a ble to afford to live where i was born and bred. that is unless: A. i can somehow figure out how to afford a one bedroom condo in East Esco/Rainbow/Temecula, or B. i marry someone who is disgustingly wealthy for their money and the fact that they can locate me near my homeland, or C. win the lottery. huh.
