for anyone who noted the passing of the great Johnny Cash, here is a beautifully written
article about him. I had just started listening to his music over the last few years, and bought his newest album when it came out about 6 months ago. If you havent heard it, or bought it, I would highly recommend it. As the article says there are a few (2) duds, but overall, the rest highly makes up for it. He was so raw and honest and amazing.
it's early, I've seen the sun rise the last 2 mornigns in a row. Ouch. Its always fun being the first one here and the last to leave. that goes against the very grain of my work ethics... work has been madness--i am scrambling to make up for lost time being on the road, and preparing to turn around and leave again today. Home again for a few, then off to Costa Rica. I'm finding the more I travel, the lazier I am getting about my organizational habits. My packing becomes sloppy and my flight info is often not at hand. It doesn't help when you live less then 5 minutes from the airport and everyone there knows who you are when you come blowing in 2 minutes before check-in closes.... Ease promotes laze.
anyways, i'm so drained at the moment dont have much to say. i'm hoping we'll find an internet connection somewhere along the way in CR so I can blog from there... we'll see.
hullo blog, it's been so long......
i've been in Florida and So Cal and now am swirling in the haze of frantic work mess until i get to leave again on Friday.
this morning while stuck in traffic (yup, we have traffic in the ID) i schooled the local rock station dj in their morningly "College of Rock Knowledge" contest. he thought it was a tough one, sorry buddy. we're talkin' very local here. i won tickets to some water park in Boise, but i told him to hang on to them for whomever wins tomorrow. it's freakin' 39 degrees out right now, who the hell wants to go to a waterpark in Boise. i'm actually thinkin' now, that i want to call in every morning just to win--its all about winning kids!!! speaking of waterparks, i did go to a waterpark in Florida. it was quite entertaining. a bonding experience for me and my work buds, including my boss. how funny is it to be running around in bathing suits with your boss? only in my line of work.....
finally splurged and bought a digital camera when i was home, hopefully i can get some pics up before i go. if not, definitely will get a Costa Rica highlight page on the site.... actually think i may tinker with that now before things start jumpin' in here....

monday afternoon evening and I am done. was on a 6:15am flight out of the SD back to Sun Valley today, then at work.... muy tired. will blog more tomorrow when i am more coherent and cohesive.
home was good as always. i finally broke down and bought my digital camera, hopefully will be able to post them in the near future. am leaving to Florida first thing on Wednesday for another 5 days, so it could be a while....
